Indigenous Exhibition

Location: Ambleside Landing
Date: August 3–12
Time: Opening until 9.p.m., every day of the festival
Welcome blessing and opening reception: Friday, August 3, 6 p.m.

Visit Ambleside Landing for a showcase of Indigenous culture inspired by West Vancouver’s origins on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish People, in particular, the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam First Nations. New to the festival this year, the Indigenous Exhibition, sponsored by BMO Bank of Montreal, recognizes the tradition of gathering and celebrates Indigenous artists and communities in a modern context to share in the richness of their arts.

The exhibition will open with a welcome blessing. Explore the authentic marketplace and an art exhibition to learn more about Indigenous culture over the 10 days of the festival. Enjoy traditional Indigenous cuisine with Mr. Bannock, Vancouver's first Indigenous food truck.
