Sara Vickruck is an award-winning queer musician and musical theatre performer living in Vancouver. Born and raised in Alberta, Sara moved to Vancouver in 2011 to grow her music and acting career. Since then, she has released her debut album Prologue in July 2015, and has played on many of the biggest stages in the Lower Mainland. Most recently Sara performed in Fun Home (Arts Club) and Circle Game: Reimagining the Music of Joni Mitchell (Firehall Arts Centre). Currently, Sara is writing a slam poetry musical entitled Poly Queer Love Ballad, which will be shown at the Vancouver Fringe Festival in September 2018.

Jo Ledingham of the Vancouver Courier says, “you’ve never seen or heard anything like Sara Vickruck, either…[she] can belt a song, croon a song and massage a song into existence.”
