Viper Central

August 9 (Thursday)
5:45pm - 7:30pm

Viper Central can rip it up bluegrass-style with sweet and crunchy harmonies aligned with tight melodic breaks that will make your heart soar, your feet shuffle and your blood curdle!

Viper Central is a five-piece acoustic string band that takes a high lonesome sound to new places. All five band members contribute original songs and will not hesitate to deliver their take on an ages-old mournful waltz or bring the house down with a barn-burning bluegrass standard.

Canadian roots and the traditions of American bluegrass, Métis, country, rockabilly and old-time have influenced their ever-evolving style. Their songs reflect Canadian landscapes and experiences and the result is natural, effortless and delightfully original. The band consists of Kathleen Nisbet on fiddle and vocals; Steven Charles on guitar, banjo and vocals; Tim Tweedale on steel guitars and vocals; Mark Vaughan on mandolin and Patrick Metzger on bass.
