There is no mistaking the chemistry of Vancouver’s husband and wife music duo, Winsome Kind. Scott and Leora’s love story is almost as beautiful as their music, which is filled with luxurious harmonies and heartwarming lyrics. Their self-titled debut album garnered them critical acclaim in 2014. Andrea Warner from CBC says, “the folk-pop affair is rife with vibrant harmonies, and there's a candy store's worth of sweet melodies.” Their music has taken them across Canada performing on VIA Rail, in train stations, living rooms, coffee shops and music halls.
In the last two years, they have embraced life as new parents raising two beautiful boys and placed music was on the back burner. However, last summer they recorded their second full-length album, aptly-named We Call It Home, and it is set for release in August 2018. The new album reflects their wonderfully wild journey as life-partners, parents and artists. It’s filled with feel-good songs about love, family and a desire for real connection in an ever-increasing digital world.
