David Graff and Band

August 6 (Monday)
7:30pm - 8:45pm

David is a singer/songwriter who began his professional music career as a drummer, recording and touring with numerous Vancouver bands in the 1970s. Soon his desire to take control of his musical fortunes led him to songwriting. He spent the next stage of his career writing and recording in Vancouver and Los Angeles. David’s songs have been used in film and television and in 1992, received a Genie Nomination for Best Song in a Movie.

Burned out by the music business, he moved to Bowen Island and turned his creative energies to making art. His work can be seen in private and corporate collections around the world.

In 2012, he began writing and performing again and in 2016, he started work on an album of new songs. With the help of a number of Vancouver’s top studio musicians, the soon-to-be-titled album took shape. The album release is scheduled for the summer of 2018.
